● Over 70 nominations for Teaching Excellence Individual and Team over the past 6 years.
● Consistently delivered two of the most highly ranked and cost-effective units (neurobiology, histology) in the School of Human Sciences.
● Educated over 8,500 medical, biomedical, and allied health students and trained/mentored 5-25 anatomy demonstrators each year for the past 13 years.
Versatile Teaching Experience
● Delivered impactful teaching across diverse cohorts, ranging from diploma to doctorate levels, and spanning four Schools: Human Sciences, Psychological Sciences, Allied Health, and Medicine.
● Key areas of teaching: neuroanatomy, histology, gross anatomy, neuroscience.
Innovative Contributions
● Pioneered barcode scanning to monitor attendance and conduct well-being checks on absentee students.
● Implemented an online Anatomy Act Compliance quiz, ensuring students’ understanding of Gross Anatomy Lab regulations and maintaining Department of Health records.
Digital Education Initiatives
● Created and disseminated education “How To” videos within the School of Human Sciences and on YouTube.
● Developed and shared over 50 h5p formative digital tests online.
